Mountain Ridge restaurant creates modern Australian food from fresh local produce. Where we can we use what we produce, and we are always looking out for local produce to incorporate into our dynamic and delicious menu.
In the kitchen
Our kitchen team is led by Dan Gallo, supported by Renato Henriques, (second in command) and Andrew Carey (apprentice chef). They lead a team of other chefs and kitchen hands.
There is a constant hum from the kitchen, a blend of music, clatter of pots and pans, the bell, and the continuous chatter of the team. It works, as they consistently deliver taste sensations to complement our wines.
Indoor and outdoor seating
The restaurant seats 100 people and is recommended to book during holiday periods or at the weekends. We have an outdoor verandah shaded by our “Entwined” sculpture, as well as tables on the lawn.
Opening hours and service
We are open daily from 9am serving breakfast until 11.30am, lunch is available from 12pm through to 2.30pm weekdays and 3pm on weekends. The Cellar Door stays open until 5pm on the weekends. We operate an order at the counter service method to reduce wait time.
